Retirement Celebration

The shíshálh Nation honoured two long employees Joan Allan and Harold Fletcher

The shíshálh Nation honoured two long employees Joan Allan and Harold Fletcher for there service to the Nation at a luncheon held Sept 23rd, 2009 at the Pebble's Restaurant. Joan Allan has worked with the Nation in our accounting department going back to 1976 and Sechelt Indian Government Administrator, Harold Fletcher since 1988.

Chief and Council, Department Heads, Housing Trustees and the SIGD Advisory Council attended the luncheon to celebrate the retirement of Harold and Joan. Councilor Jordan Louie was the Master of Ceremonies and thanked them for there long term commitment that Joan and Harold have made to the Nation to help build capacity and infrastructure for the Nation's governence over their own affairs.

We wish them well with the retirement and enjoyment by being able to spend more time with family!
