Torch Run Relay - Sechelt

The historical events in Sechelt Feb 4th, 2010 surrounding the 2010 Olympic torch relay created much excitement in the community and brought out thousands of spectators to celebrate this occasion.

New Vessel

The shishlah Nation took delivery of a new 26' Silverstream Aluminum crew vessel powered by a 350 hp yamaha outboard, equipped with an 8hp auxillary motor, garmin gps, radar, sounder, icom radio and espar heater.

Retirement Celebration

The shíshálh Nation honoured two long employees Joan Allan and Harold Fletcher

The shíshálh Nation honoured two long employees Joan Allan and Harold Fletcher for there service to the Nation at a luncheon held Sept 23rd, 2009 at the Pebble's Resturant. Joan Allan has worked with the Nation in our accounting department going back to 1976 and Sechelt Indian Government Adminstrator, Harold Fletcher since 1988.
